today was a very chill day… having to stay home all day away from the sun as much as possible… I felt like an alien and my face looked and felt like I’ve been sunburned… (no pain, no gain). the night is so much nicer to my skin. [sorry but I’m not going to explain what I’m talking about, but I still wanted to vent out the slight pain I went through today..]
So many thoughts went through my mind as I just sat there in front of the fan all day.
Of the many, what blew me away the most was about the bible. (yes, I read… and I know, how much my grammer must throw you off… ㅡ,.ㅡ)
(going off tangent for a bit) I’ve always wanted to learn hanja (chinese characters in korean version?) for the longest time, only so that I can read our family history book. how much more lame can i get.. right? :) but i was so amazed about it when i was first told that we even had a family history book since way back when korea was under a monarchy. Isn’t that cool?! I mean you only see those kind of stuff in the movies. like the ones where the kid goes into an attic and come upon a dusty old book, which then sucks the kid back into the past and … yea… awesomeness.
just in case you haven’t caught on yet:
what blew me away as I was reading through genesis that this isn’t just a book I was reading, nor was it just writings and writings of history, but it is also OUR history.
It is THE ULTIMATE family history book! I mean you’re reading about the family line from which our savior was born and all the amazing things He did for us… and it even tells you about whats to come! WHOA~! haha how crazy is that? :D just another reason to read the bible even more!
