I’ve finally had the chance to go to Porto’s that opened in Downey. & the waiting in line part was definitely worth it. I got the usual cheese bread, potato ball, and fruit tart, along with their Cubano sandwich. I think it was one of the best deli sandwich I’ve ever had… (I would never really opt for a deli sandwich, but this was Porto’s). It may seem like I’m over-hyping how good this place is, & I agree.
I mean, I even forgot to lock my car with my phone and keys locked in the trunk… (yes shocking.. & how of careless of me), but what a perfect illustration of how excited we all were to go to Porto’s for Sunday lunch. :) I’m glad that I don’t have to drive near 40 minutes to fill my cravings for some tasty and affordable pastry.
